This area is home to fly fishing on the east coast. The East Branch of the Delaware River is just minutes away. You must have a fishing license from the DEC - so plan ahead. If you'd like to fish the Pepacton Reservoir you'll need an additional permit from the NYC - DEP.

We are near skiing at Plattekill www.plattekill.com and Belleayre www.belleayre.com, two great mountains. Plattekill is open weekends and holiday weeks only but is usually the least crowded and a great mountain.

Andes is a great town - having undergone a true renaissance. You can find wonderful dining - quirky, country and cool shopping - a great main street for strolling along down to the park - a public pool and tennis courts at the school - fun festivals and cultural events throughout the year. Delaware County offers lots to do if you enjoy the simple things in life and are willing to drive a little. From great farm markets, local theatre and performing centers, great state hiking trails, mountain biking and kayaking, through winter skiing and tubing.
